Since leaving public education, the principals of Plus One Performance Group, Russell Fleury, M.A. and Mark Hardwick, Ph.D. have been involved in many entrepreneurial ventures and diversified consulting practices in team development, leadership training and communication training. The core of their philosophy has been to use adult learning principles and unique communication tools to help individuals, teams, and organizations explore, develop and execute their vision, mission and strategies in sync with their strengths and values. Out of this varied and successful experience has come the integration of Road Scholars and CommonGround under one entity, Plus One Performance Group in Chapel Hill, NC.
”I have been to many, many speaker training sessions over the years and this was certainly worth it. I learned many new practical tips for engaging the audience and getting my message across. The single most important thing I learned was not to use MSU (making stuff up) and just tell people I don’t know everything.” — John Reynolds M.D., Astra Zenca Speaker Training Forum
Our core team is located in Chapel Hill, NC with talented, experienced and certified performance coaches and facilitators located in other areas of the country.
